ABOUT REFLEXOLOGY

Adapted over thousands of years, Reflexology is based on the theory that the entire body is represented by pressure points on the foot. Through gently applied pressure and massage we are able to affect the entire body, unblocking energy channels, improving blood and lymphatic circulation and bringing a sense of wellbeing and balance to mind body and soul. 

There have been various theories applied to explain how Reflexology works so successfully, including the re-education of the nervous system, the release of endorphins and enkephalins (the bodies natural painkillers), and the fine tuning of neural pathways. What continues to be proven however is that reflexology promotes deep relaxation, regulating the bodies stress responses and restoring a sense of balance and calm.

ABOUT ME

Charlie Dunn
IEB professional diploma in Reflexology.
Association of Reflexology approved.

I was introduced to reflexology 6 years ago when desperately seeking a good nights sleep at 42 weeks pregnant. I was instantly relaxed and felt an immediate sense of balance and calm. From then on my go to for relaxation and self care was reflexology, and my love for the therapy grew. That coupled with my desire to help people navigate the stresses and strains of modern life,  is what drove me to leave my job working for one of the UK's top Health magazines and start my journey as a complementary therapist. The power of reflexology continues to fascinate me every day and it brings me such pleasure to enable people to take control of their mental and physical health and induce a sense of calm and wellbeing.
